Dream Trailer

By

Starting from 2018, I started transforming my dreams into movie posters and put them up in streets or allies, particularly somewhere near cinemas. I attempted to trick the pedestrians as if they were genuine movies. I hoped to destress the inhabitants of this concrete jungle, but at the same time, I was building up my own “realities”.

I informed the owner of the art theater that all these posters were my dreams. Such as the blue one titled “I’ 984”, I dreamed that I was a quality control labor numbered 984, working in a kite manufacture. I had to fly kites woven out of human skin to check if it was qualified for the market.

I was terrified. I secretly sought a rationale from my neighboring colleague. She scolded me, “Shhh! Don’t ask, don’t inquire, don’t spread words.”. I was stunned and perplexed when I woke up.

The theater owner found that amusing and permitted my posters there for a period of time. My eagerness to tell stories has motivated my artistic career, until today.
